Floating Village + Bakong Temple

Explore the lively village of Kampong Phluk, where you can walk along its charming paths and experience everyday life. You’ll hear laughter and smell local foods as you pass by the stilt houses that are submerged during the rainy season. After enjoying the village’s beauty, take a traditional boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake, where the wide-open view of the sky is truly stunning. Later, visit a nearby frog farm. You’ll hear the frogs croaking and see how they are raised in an eco-friendly way.

After a tasty lunch with local dishes, head to a leather carving school, where they turn raw materials into beautiful art. Watch their skilled hands create each piece with care.

As the day ends, climb to Bakheng Temple to see a beautiful sunset. The sun sets below the horizon, filling the sky with orange and pink colors. Finish your day with a delicious dinner, thinking about the experiences that have shown you this vibrant culture.

What to expect

Rolous Market | 30 minutes

We’ll start the day at 8 am by picking you up from the hotel and visiting Rolous Market, an ancient city before Angkor Wat.

Frog Farm | 30 minutes

visit a nearby frog farm. You’ll hear the frogs croaking and see how they are raised in an eco-friendly way.

Kampong Pluk | 2 hours

Dry Season

Explore the lively village of Kampong Phluk, where you can walk along its charming paths and experience everyday life on Tonle Sap Lake by boat, offering a serene experience and great photo opportunities.

Wet Season

Experience the wet season vibe by exploring the house on stilts, riding a boat around the village, and canoeing through the mangrove forest of Tonle Sap Lake.

Lunch | 1 hour

Lunch at a famous restaurant in Bakong to try Khmer dishes.

Leather Carving School | 40 minutes

head to a leather carving school, where they turn raw materials into beautiful art. Watch their skilled hands create each piece with care. if you want, you can learn and take part.

The Apopo | 1 hour

Visit Apopo and learn how rats are trained to save lives. Ticket is excluded. After the Apopo visit, drop you off at the hotel for relaxation.

Sunset on Bakheng Temple | 90 minutes

Begins your evening by Picking you up at 4:30 pM from your hotel to take you to enjoy a sunset view at Phnom Bakheng, followed by dinner.

Dinner | 1 hour

Khmer/ Western Dish

Head back to the hotel and wrap up your Evening’s adventures by 7:30 PM.
